information

description

i bought tickets to visit this castle since mom and sis are here in germany. Too bad the weather was really bad that day. It was so cold, it was like we were still in the winter. So we decided to just sit in the hotel restaurant and drink coffee instead of going up the mountain.

Neuschwanstein is a 19th century bavarian castle. Located in Germany, near Hohenschwangau and Füssen in southwest Bavaria, the castle was built by Ludwig II, King of Bavaria, as a retreat and as a homage to Richard Wagner, the King's inspiring muse. It is the most photographed building in Germany,[1] although photography of the interior is not permitted, and is one of Germany's most popular tourist destinations.
